Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Kijun ("Kijun", "we", "us"), a company registered in Israel, collects through kijun.io and when you email us, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to hello@kijun.io.

What this policy covers

The kijun.io website and email correspondence with us. The Kijun product is in private preview and is not open for public sign-up. Before it collects account data from anyone, this policy will be updated to describe that.

What we collect

• Email you send us. If you write to us, for example to request early access, book a sizing call or apply as a design partner, we receive your email address, your name and company if you include them, and whatever you write.
• Analytics, only if you accept. If you click Accept on the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, how you reached the site, your approximate location, browser and device type. IP addresses are anonymised. If you decline or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is not loaded and none of this is collected.
• Technical request data. Like every website, the servers that deliver kijun.io (Amazon Web Services) process your IP address and browser details to send you the page and to protect the service from abuse. We do not keep our own access logs.

The site does not use advertising cookies, does not set any cookie before you accept analytics, and does not load fonts or other content from third parties.

Why we use it

• To reply to you and, if you asked about early access, to contact you about it. The legal basis is your request and our legitimate interest in answering it.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site (analytics). The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To run and secure the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping it available and safe.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Who else processes it

• Amazon Web Services hosts and delivers the website.
• Google hosts our email (Google Workspace) and, if you accept analytics, provides Google Analytics.

These providers process data on our behalf under their data processing terms. Some of them store data outside Israel and the European Economic Area, including in the United States; where that applies, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Emails: for as long as the conversation is relevant, and no longer than 24 months after our last exchange unless you become a customer. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
• Analytics: Google Analytics keeps event data for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically.

Your choices and rights

You can change your analytics choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it, by writing to hello@kijun.io. We will answer within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, you can complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority or, if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site and product are intended for professionals and are not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use data we already hold, we will tell the people affected before it takes effect.
